HEALTH AND SAFETY STEERING GROUP
OBJECTIVES
- To provide continued direction to TSA’s Health and Safety initiatives
- To recommend projects to the TSA as per the annual incident reports
- To ensure expert representation on standards committees to protect and promote the industry’s interests.
OUTPUTS
The main deliverables for this steering group are to make available guidance, resources and statistics for the industry to minimise all types of health and safety-related incidents in laundry operations.
INDUSTRY HEALTH & SAFETY DATA
The TSA collects and analyses the industry data relating to health and safety incidents. This annual anonymised report is then presented to the H&S Steering Group to indentify trends, compare and to address any concerns. This group also recommends solutions to the TSA which might then become a specific project with clear objectives and deliverables with a beginning and an end.
